The things that might or actually happend in this world

There are a lot of people in this world that is struggling with their life and stress out because some people lose their faith just like this quotes “Faith must be enforced by reason when faith becomes blind it dies”.  Jefferson in a Lesson before Dying is the perfect example for this quote because he loses his faith by living in racist society, nobody wants to help him because he’s a black men. During this time of period Black people were slaves. There was no freedom for them, so it is not surprise to know that they lose their faith because of this harmful action that white people did.

Around 1940’s the black people were forced to work without pay, under threat of violence, and they’re unable to walk away. You can find them in factories, mines, farm fields, restaurants, construction sites and private homes. Many slaves have been tricked by traffickers who lure vulnerable people with false promises of good jobs or education. Some slaves are marched to work at gunpoint. Slavery is illegal everywhere, but it happens nearly everywhere. As you can see the main big part about being slavery is a no freedom, no choice and the last one is no money.

For example in the book, character whose name is Dr.Joseph. Who is a superintendent of a school. Well Dr. Joseph sees the black children as physical laborers and implies blacks should be working in the fields as they did when they were slaves. He compliments Grant’s class by calling it a “good crop” racist language that suggests Dr. Joseph thinks of the students as objects, not people just because they are black.

At the beginning in this book, you could already tell that Jefferson might lose his faith because he’s a black man and he had to deal with the court which he knew he would get sended to the jail because he’s a black guy and nobody wants to help him and even though grants tries to help him it didn’t work because he’s a black men too. And especially if everybody is white at the court it is no chance to get away from the trouble that Jefferson hasn’t done.

In this book Ernest J. Gaines writes about the black people’s lives. How they were back in. how they were treated by people. What they thought while living during the slavery. In this book, Jefferson is who had to face a court and jail even though he’s an innocent guy because he is black in a racist society; the law will not help Jefferson. The jurors are not even asked to consider the legality of the situation. Rather, they are asked to acquit him because he is a pathetic creature for the white people. Black man is guilty until proven innocent. Under the law, the prosecution has to prove Jefferson’s guilt, but under the rules of convention in this racist society, the prosecution must only concoct a vague theory based on no evidence. Jefferson’s attorney defends his client not by using the evidence, but by damning Jefferson as a hog and a fool too stupid to plan such a crime and all these things cause Jefferson to lose his faith. In his diary he also explain that his faith in friendship with Grant, not really in God. Jefferson doesn’t know he rather put his faith in religion since a lot of people said different things to him because in the book the characters will say “heaven does not exist for blacks, but Reverend Ambrose says heaven is for all people” so this is why Jefferson wasn’t sure about it.

Although at end before Jefferson die he didn’t matter anything about what white people does to him. Mr. Pichot shows some compassion toward Jefferson by offer to Sharpe his pencil and gives him the knife as a gift. Also this guy name Guidry in the book offers to leave the light on so Jefferson can write and he also allowed numerous visitors to see Jefferson. All he cared and worries was about grant because grant is someone who convinced Jefferson that he is a somebody that is a worth it and he also influence to face his death with almost superhuman calm and understanding.

As matter fact before Jefferson died he told grants that “you are a wonderful teacher for helping me” , but Grant says that he did very little and that maybe Jefferson caused the change. And in his diary Jefferson also said that he was singing and the blue sky in the last few hours before his death. Before he died Jefferson transformation into a dignified, compassionate exemplary human being and also he becomes more strongly identified with god before he died. He became very strong men in the room.  He also made Grants thoughts about Jefferson in major difference because in the final chapter grant asks Jefferson to forgive him and says, “My faith is in you, jefferson”. As For Grant, Jefferson has become a hero to emulate in times of despair.

Throw away people: The painful life

The article I read about the homeless and it said, "In the United States and Japan, there are million peoples who are homeless or becoming homeless are having a hard time with their lives." But, it isn’t only these two countries that are having this issues. The average age of the homeless population in Japan are around 55 years old, compared to an average age of 45 years for homeless individuals in the United States. The difference between Japan and America is the way they deal with the homeless. Homeless families , women, and children are relatively rare In Japan. One of the most distinct features of Japanese homelessness is that 95 percent of the homeless are either middle aged or older single men who are unemployed and have no contact with their families or relatives, and the proportion of homeless women is extremely small, only 3 percent because women are often taken care of by surrounding family members. Besides, there are a number of reason as to why so many are suddenly without a home. One of the most common reason is there are simple no jobs. In the United States, the most common reason for peoples becoming homeless are due to issues such as unemployment, and or they cannot afford to repay a loan.

In United States the way the public has chosen to address the homeless situation is really kind because, american peoples would try to help out their homeless population by having food bank or homeless shelter or any other volunteer events such as having the homeless peoples and their family and friends volunteer their time to work directly at a shelter. But, in Japan the circumstances is different it depends mostly on family's situation however, the only time Japanese peoples would help is when those families are really poor or really sick and cannot afford medical treatment. But, if the homeless is a single guy they would actually prefer for a life on the streets rather than facing the humiliation of asking for help from family or friends. Although, in most circumstances family members will not help them out. And the Japanese government isn't quite sure what to do about its homeless population. In Japanese articles it said, "before Japanese government help out the homeless population they are going to make sure that they ask their family members for support because there simply isn’t many homeless shelter or food bank in Japan.”

There are various types of homeless peoples and some situations it's not really homeless. There are those people who become homeless only because of financial mismanagement. How they organized their finances was insufficient to deal with necessities required to maintain a home. They made a few incorrect decision with their money causing them to have inadequate funds to pay for housing. For this group, it is that simple. And for them, the solution to end their homelessness is equally as simple. All they need do is correct their financial situation and in a very short amount of time, they will find themselves back in a home. For the most part, Their homeless experience last a very short time from just a day or two, to a few months at the most. Often, theses peoples fix their homeless situation by themselves , or with very little assistance. Another group of peoples become homeless because their decision making process are impaired by extenuating circumstance, such as illness, or addictions. Most of these peoples are living in homeless shelter, under a bridge, and also living on the streets in cardboard boxes. Most people's are living a conformable life and with luck are able to keep themselves away from this situation.

The U.S. economy has fallen and some people are questioning how this happen and what caused the economy to dramatically fall. One reason the U.S. economy is not stable is because of United States Government using too much money for the wars and greed. Banks became too greedy and gave loans to peoples that couldn't afford them. And consumers became too greedy and bought homes, cars and things on credit cards they couldn't afford. As a result, many homeowners have lost their homes because of this. The United States economic meltdown also played a major role pushing peoples into poverty or homeless.

Therefore, some peoples started to live in their cars, camp tents because they lost the house. So these people go to food bank to get a decent meal and to take a shower. Although, some people may still have a house to live in but, they choose to eat at the food back and sometimes take showers because they do not have enough money to afford everything (low income). Where peoples have lost everything during the economic crisis end up in very dire straits for one reason or another. Most likely, these peoples ended up living on the streets in cardboard house. These are the homeless peoples. Unfortunately, even though Obama have been working to solve the economic problem since 2010, the economy continue to struggling with a slow moving unshakable growth but not faster enough to create enough jobs for everyone out there who are looking for work to support their family. The trouble is that our current problems cannot be solved with a simple fix and cannot be solved quickly . It took a decade for us to get to this point, and it will likely take us at least a decade to work our way out of it, even if we make the right decisions.

The economic meltdown have dramatically reduced government revenue and caused the military to forcibly discharged so many peoples and cut many government civilian jobs related to the military because of budget cuts and also the government had to make cutback on higher education funding . And with tuition costing more some students ends up quitting school. Another reason poverty exist in this century even though peoples have higher education some peoples will still not be able to work because of the economy crisis. If the economy was the way it used to be back in late 1990s then most people's will probably be able to work at a company. But, since the economy isn’t doing as good and peoples expected most people's will really have chance to get a job even though peoples graduated from college. So these are a few reasons why poverty and homeless exist and constantly increasing every year.

There are a few things that you can do to decrease the poverty and homeless situation. The two easy way to avoid poverty in the United States is first bring back all the factories we have in foreign countries that alone will help create millions of jobs. But, they wouldn't do that because out sourcing jobs overseas is cheap labor. The second thing we can do for us to keep ourselves out of poverty is to better manage our financial situation. People should start to question their self-such as “what or how we should manage our money?” and also “what step does people take to keep their self and their family away from poverty” if we have a good answer to those two question then we should be able to avoid and or keep our self away from poverty.

There is this book called “Act like a lady and think like a man” became very popular in this generation. They are also making a movie based on this book. There is this girl that I know her name is Rosie who thinks like this and act like this since her last year of high school. Rosie was popular in the high school. A lot of boys wanted to get to know her or go out with her. She was smart and nice girl but she also had devil side of her such as (I’m going to play his mind).She got those concepts from her mother. Her mother thought her “you should know how man think. Be smarter than boys; do not give what they want. Most important thing is do not open up your leg because they are going to call you a “name” even though they do same thing like some of girls who get called by a “name” Let a boy follow you, Don’t follow boy. You have to be the charge of relationship and make sure you won’t be played by boy. So today I’m going to share her story, how she deal with this during her last high school year.

Hi everyone my name is Rosie and I’m sure you heard about me. I’m senior of Zama American High School. Right now I’m with this one of my guy friend who has been friend with me since sophomore year. He’s name is Alex. He’s very popular because girls think he’s cute which I don’t think he’s cute. He loves to drive around, acting cool and act like he’s stupid but he’s actually really smart and sneaky. Lately Alex is acting weird towards me, he’s asking me more hugs and he wants to pay for everything for me every time we hangout. More of his attitude made me thinks he has feeling toward me. Few days later He called my cell phone and asked “if I wanted to chill with him” I told him“yeah sure” but same time my mind said to me “Here he is. I knew he is going to ask me out soon or later” He picked me up from my house I was sitting next to him in his car. We were talking and listening to music and all the sudden his face was getting closer and closer and he end up kissing me. On first date he tried to kiss me? I said to myself “Oh no”! That’s the time I was really sure “He’s trying to play game with me”. I have known him since sophomore year, so I know how he is very well. He’s like female version player even though his gender is male. I know what he has done to the other females because of story he told me. So it was no way for me to go out with him. But I decided to join the game that he invited me to let him know how they feel like if someone is going to play your feelings and I wanted to just kill my time. Also it was good for me because he’s not that ugly. Few months past, he and I still playing game but honestly I was getting bored with this game because all we do is just drive around go watch movies and hangout with our friends which I hated because we have been hanging out with same people so I was definitely bored doing same thing over and over.

While I was thinking about how bored this is, I saw this one boy who was walking with his friends they were walking towards me and he smiled at me so I smiled him back I felt something and again I got an idea on my mind. Actually he’s very cute and also he’s friends cute too. I should get to know him. Now I have to think how to drop that current fish which holding on me to bring back that fish to the ocean. The plan I made was to make Alex say “it’s over” instead of I am telling Alex “it’s over”. To make that happened, I needed him to find a girl so I decided to lie to him and say “I’m grounded for month” As a matter of fact I’m really just hanging out with another friends behind Alex back a while he believed I have been grounded. According to my notes about him, if he can’t hang out with his main girl for a month or two He can’t take it and start to see the other girl. I waited about months so. Yes he did it, he found a new girl. My plan was perfectly working. We decided to break up and at the same time my plan was keep going. When people found out we broke up, they thought it was Alex’s fault because of he found him a new girl. People were supporting me and talking seriously bad about him. It is exactly how I planned but same time I felt little bit bad for him. But I said to myself this is called goes around comes around.

Few months past I was having great senior life, so many good friends around me and I received good grade. But the boy and his friends who smiled at me were still on my mind and I still wanted to get to know those boys .but to do so, I needed to hurry up because they were becoming really popular in our school .They can rap and they can ball and they got the looks. So I turned on my player mode and started getting closer to their friends for them to introduce me to the boys whom I target at. Few weeks later the time has come. Their friends introduced me to the boy name Jarmarcus and his boys. I wasn't really excited like more than I expected. We ended up becoming really good friend and also we became a one of a famous group in this school. But unexpected thing was happened. Jarmarcus started liking me but honestly I was not happy that he likes me. So I just play around and control him on my hand to make sure he is not closer to me. But he was kind a slow. Everything what I did for not liking me, it didn't work to Jarmarcus. Then I had to think about the other idea to let him make distance from me. During I was dealing with him, one of my friends had issue with her boyfriend. There is girls who just want to mess with her boyfriend and try to take him away from her. Of course guys are so slow and immature than girls so he didn't know what was going on. He was actually getting into her trap. My friend complained and explained how she is and what she is trying to do but he didn't understand and he was talking to her as friend. My girlfriend couldn't take the fact how stupid he was. So my friend decided to dump him. Before she dump him she give him this song called “Hope she cheat on you with a basketball player by Marsha Ambrosius” and she also blast that song out in my car and sing with my other friends. After singing same song so many times, she felt better so I took her and other friends home.

After few days, my friend’s ex-boyfriend started to go out with that girl who was messing with him. This happening really dropped his reputation and showed everybody how slow he was. But you know what, their relationship wasn’t last long. Next day my best friend whose name is “Dre” asked me to go eat lunch with him because he wanted me to listen to his problem, so we decided to meet up at taco bell around 11:00 am. While I was waiting for him at front of the taco bell I saw Dre and his friend who I really dislike was walking towards me. I was wondering why he brought that boy whom I don’t like. Because Dre knows I don’t like him. He is very mean person. But he is very good looking boy. I guess he knows he’s very handsome that’s why he has an attitude toward everybody like I am all that. Lots of girls wanted to get with him and it was just crazy to me. We went to inside Taco bell. We found the seat to sit down. But Dre was acting weird and put his friend’s stuff next to Dre’s seat so his friend can sit next to me. I was getting mad because I knew what Dre was trying to do but I hold my anger and try to act cool. Yes I was right. He’s friend Shaquille ending up sitting next to me. I really felt that something was going on. While we were eating, all I thought about was how much I really hate to be here with them. Because I know what my friend is trying to do. It is no way for me to go out with his friend because I had bad experience with him one time. One day I had to talk to Shaquille because I wanted to talk to Dre about the project which due was closed. So I asked Shaquille “Where is Dre?” he said “I don’t know” so I said “okay and Thanks”. I decided to wait for Dre at the school court yard and Shaquille staying right by my side. Shaq started talk to me again and gave an attitude like he is all that. I got mad but I told him “I am sorry but I don’t want to keep talking to someone that I don’t know very well and I am waiting for Dre. So can you leave me alone? Thanks” Shaq said “Yea that make sense” So we stopped talking. Since then, I have known that he has attitude problems. But now I have to deal with him again. I was ready for his attitude. But surprised me was somehow he was being so nice to me. I doubted him and Dre first. I thought they have some kind of plan and I was aware of it. But after I spent time with him, I don’t know why but I felt something different from him. I didn’t know what it was. But from that day we started to hang out every day and talk every day. We were always together but never got bored. I become his girlfriend I was actually happy but of course time is going by past, it eventually came to where I’m going to graduate soon and going to leave this place and him behind I was sad but at same time I was excited to graduate because I hate this school but I’m glad that I actually get to know Shaquille and become his girlfriend and met all these other nice people in this school but I eventually broke up with him because I am not type of girl who’s going to do long distance.
